Sundog Ecovillage Visitor Policy

What do I do if I want to visit Sundog?

On the first Sunday of the month  between 3.00pm and 8.00pm Sundog is open to people interested in learning about, and/or hanging out with, Sundog, its members and friends. Please RSVP
(406) 244-2247
Outside of this time, and depending on available space and time, Sundog is happy to welcome anyone interested in learning about ecovillages and about Sundog. Anyone wanting to visit Sundog and/.or to stay overnight needs to make a reservation, preferably in writing or by email, to Penelope Baquero at sundogecovillageATgmailDOTcom.
Anyone interested in staying for a period of time at Sundog should read our Volunteer and Intern Policy document.

What do I need to bring?
We ask that all guests planning to spend a night or more at Sundog bring their own
camping and sleeping equipment, their own food and suggest a donation of
$5.00 per night to defray costs. Children can stay free.

What facilities do you have?
We have a beautiful un-serviced campsite for tents, and a community house. We also
have roadways and spaces in front of the house and shop where camper vans and cars should be parked. Vehicles are not permitted in the camping area. On rare occasions guests can be accommodated in the house.

All guests are welcome to use the bathroom on the top floor for a maximum of .5 hours
once a day between the hours of 7.00am and 9.00pm.

All guests are also welcome to join Sundog members for the main daily meal which happens in the evening... if they are willing to bring food, help prepare it and help clean up after.

What agreements do I need to make?
1. We strongly discourage visitors from bringing pets. Our covenants are strict about this. If your animal/s must come, please tell us this when you make your reservation. Animals will be required at all times to be either on a leash or in the community kennel.
2. We ask that visitors lend a hand with ongoing work projects where possible.
3. We ask that visitors leave all space and facilities used by them in as good or better a
condition as they found them.
4. We ask that visitors accept responsibility for their own health and safety, cooperate
with our fire safety regulations(posted in our living room).
5. We ask that visitors sign a liability waiver agreement for each person.
6. We ask that visitors respect the private spaces of Sundog residents and that they accept for the time they are with us, the community agreements that guide our living together at Sundog. These are posted in our living room.
7. We ask that visitors sign these agreements upon arrival.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN SUNDOG
WE LOOK FORWARD TO MEETING YOU!
